DeepRootz Inspirtainment is designed to meet the needs of the community by providing alternative entertainment that is thought-provoking and uplifting.  We will also provide a positive outlet for youth to lyrically de-stress and express their inner selves by helping them to  experience something bigger than themselves moving through them seeking expression and illumination.

 

 

Our mission is to encourage, enlighten and inspire others through positive poetry to rise above their circumstances, take responsibility and turn mistakes into learning lessons.

•Our vision is to inspirationally entertain others via what we like to call, "Poetic Therapy" in the form of performance poetry, spokenword cd’s and books as well as conduct workshops teaching youth how to lyrically express themselves through poetry.  We will show that poetry can be fun, therapeutic and a viable outlet of expression that transcends our own experiences and also speaks to others crossing race, gender, cultural and social barriers.
